Melanie is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Tennessee. She began her healthcare career as a Certified Surgical Technologist at Physicians Regional Medical Center in 2009. In 2013, she obtained her associate Degree in Nursing from Lincoln Memorial University. She continued her work in surgery as an RN specializing in orthopedic surgery at PRMC. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree at King University in 2015. While working as an RN, she continued her education at Lincoln Memorial University for her Master’s of Science in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner and graduated in 2016. As an NP, she has experience in pain management, primary care in a clinic setting, and primary care in home health and assisted living facilities. In her free time, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband and her four boys. They enjoy vacationing at the beach, visiting different campgrounds and amusement parks, and spending time with their family and friends. Melanie enjoys caring for her elderly patients in their homes and learning about their experiences. Her mission is to treat and care for each patient as an individual, listen to their concerns, and provide exceptional patient care.
