Megan Edmisten is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Milligan College with her BSN in 2004. She worked as a Med/Surg and ICU step-down nurse for 3 years until she married and moved to Knoxville. She then worked for 8 years at Fort Sanders Outpatient Wound Treatment Center. She graduated with her MSN from East Tennessee State University in 2015, is certified through the AANP, and is licensed as an advanced Practice Nurse in Tennessee. In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, Doug, and their two children, Micah and Madison. They love going to the beach, being outside, and spending time with friends and family. Megan is currently working in assisted living facilities and with homebound patients. She has a passion for the elderly population, and her mission is to care for and treat her patients as if they were her own family and to provide excellent patient care.
